Community Forum
November 10, 2021
This event is free and will be conducted virtually over Zoom.
The Capitol Hill EcoDistrict wants to build a vision for public life in Capitol Hill with you!
Join us to help craft a vision for the design of public spaces that support connectivity, public health and wellness, and environmental resilience for all.
The EcoDistrict defines community by impact – if you are affected by the choices made about public spaces in Capitol Hill, then you are a member of our community. All people who identify with this definition of community are welcome to join.
Following the 2021 Community Forum, the EcoDistrict will continue to conduct individualized research to ensure representation from all sectors of the community. With this insight gathered, we will create a Vision and Implementation Plan for Public Life in Capitol Hill.
In conjunction with this outreach, the EcoDistrict has embarked on several pilot projects:
-
Rain paint murals
-
Habitat demonstration garden
-
Outdoor retail fair

The EcoDistrict is planning four rain paint murals for public rights of way in Capitol Hill, and we need your help to decide on mural artwork! Online voting for rain paint murals will begin on November 8.
